You all know that he goes mostly by his stage name, Buck Dharma
But do you know what these two words mean?
Years ago, just after getting to meet Buck for the first time, I began to wonder just what his name did mean. So I looked each word up in a dictionary, and found their meaning to fit this great man very well.
For all you Buck Dharma fans who don't know, here are the definitions that I found:

IN HINDUISM, DHARMA REFERS TO THE MORAL LAW, THE RELIGIOUS AND ETHICAL DUTIES OF AN INDIVIDUAL. FOLLOWING ONE'S DHARMA ENTAILS CONDUCT APPROPRIATE TO ONE'S CASTE AND FULFILLMENT OF HINDU PRECEPTS. THE CARRYING OUT OF DHARMA IS SAID TO GOVERN ONE'S REBIRTHS. HINDUISM ITSELF IS CALLED SANATANA DHARAM (ETERNAL DHARMA), OR EVER LASTING LAW.
IN BUDDHISM, DHARMA IS THE BODY OF TRUTH TAUGHT BY BUDDHA.
Buck Dharma, the songs he writes and the messages they convey, hell even the air around him. They all project such a highly positive and uplifting energy. He, and his music, have also taught me many lessons of a very spiritual nature. I am SO glad to have gotten to know him. And I have become a much better person because of it. Thanks Buck, for being you!
